中国农历一月的第一天是春节，这是中国最盛大的节日，也是阖家团圆的日子。春节是一个持续的庆祝过程，在除夕时，吃年夜饭和看春晚是如今中国人过春节的两项重要习俗。大年初一的早上是孩子们最兴奋的时候，按传统，长辈会给孩子们压岁红包，祝愿他们在新的一年里平安好运。在这一天，人们还会给亲戚朋友拜年。
过年的热闹气氛会一直持续到正月十五，此时，将迎来又一个热闹的节日——元宵节。

On New Year's Eve,having a New Year's Eve dinner and watching the Spring Festival Gala are two important customs.
The morning of Chinese New Year is always exciting for kids.
Traditionally, adults give red envelopes with money inside to the children to wish them peace and good luck in the coming year.
On the rest of the day,people visit families and friends with happy New Year wishes.
The joyous atmosphere of Chinese New Year will linger until the first full moon of the first lunar month.
Then the Lantern Festival is celebrated, which is bound to be another busy day.
